You are advised to reschedule or cancel your BCG vaccination appointment in the following situations: • If the person receiving the BCG vaccine (tuberculosis immunisation) is significantly unwell or has a fever of 38.5°C or higher (mild illness without fever is generally safe for BCG vaccination). • If the person receiving the BCG vaccine has received a live injectable vaccine within the past four weeks (28 days).
